Marisol Rivera has been selected as the April Volunteer of the month at St. Susan Center. Marisol moved to Jamestown in 2016 from Puerto Rico, she has 5 Children and 6 Grandchildren and she will be a Grandmother again in a few months as one of her children is expecting.
When she lived in Puerto Rico she worked for 19 years in the agricultural fields harvesting crops and picking whatever was in season. In her spare time, she likes to read and she loves coffee.
Marisol has been volunteering at the Center for a year and usually works in the dish room making sure that everything is washed and cleaned properly. Marisol says she enjoys volunteering at the soup kitchen and her favorite staff person to work with is Chef Larry Rifle.
