A message from the Executive Director:

Have you ever had someone on your mind that you haven’t seen for years and suddenly you run into them? Or have you ever shown up at exactly the right time to be a part of something wonderful? You might call it a coincidence, but I call it a divine appointment.

Recently, I stopped by the Basket Company at the Gateway Center, to make a purchase. Joyce, a friendly staff person, greeted me and quickly stuck her head in the back room of the shop and said, “St. Susan’s is here”, as if they had been waiting for me. Quickly a friend that had stopped by for a visit stepped out and said that he had been blessed and handed me a donation. However, moments before I arrived he had been sharing with Joyce that he was considering giving a monetary gift to the center but wasn’t 100% sure he should (there are many worthwhile ministries in our area). His mind was completely made up when he saw me!

That day seemed like just any other, or so we thought! However, being at the right place at the right time was simply divine!
