Gary Starr has been chosen as the April Volunteer of the Month at St. Susan Center.
Gary has been volunteering at the soup kitchen for over 3 years after his wife suggested he needed to find an activity to keep him busy in his retirement. He first volunteered during the Thanksgiving break a few years ago and was bitten by the St. Susan bug. He has been a steady volunteer on Tuesdays for the last 3 years.
Gary is married to his wife Diane of 45 years. He has 2 children ad 8 Grand Children and is an retired Iron worker of 25 years. He also enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
