Sally Galati is the January Volunteer of the Month at St. Susan Center. She has been volunteering for seven years. She comes to work at the soup kitchen on Monday mornings for the 9-12 shift.
Sally attends St. James Church and sings in the choir there. In her spare time, she also enjoys cooking and baking at home for her four children who are all married, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
While volunteering, she focuses on serving, washing, and any other cleaning necessary. Her fellow volunteer, Sue Boland, has been quoted as saying “She always finds something to do to help the center.”
Congratulations Sally for being Selected at January Volunteer of the Month!
